Easy as Tuning collects nothing. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers and no server of its own. Nothing you do in the app is transmitted anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to be transmitted to.

The app listens through your device's microphone in order to work out the pitch of the note you are playing. That is the entire purpose of the permission, and it is the only thing the audio is used for.

iOS will not grant microphone access without asking you first, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Microphone. The app will simply stop hearing anything.

Your settings are saved on your device so the app opens the way you left it: reference pitch, chosen tuning, appearance, and any custom tunings you build. They stay there, are included in your own device backups if you make them, and are removed when you delete the app. They are not readable by anyone else and are never uploaded.

Easy as Tuning offers a single one-time purchase. It is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; payment details are never seen by, or shared with, this app or its developer. What the app receives back from Apple is confirmation that the purchase exists, and nothing else.

There is no subscription. Nothing renews and nothing expires.

The app is safe for all ages. Since it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children either.

If this policy ever changes it will be updated on this page, with the date at the top revised. A change that affected what the app does with your data would also be described in the App Store release notes.
